What is Evening for Life?
Evening for Life is a banquet to raise vital support for the life-saving ministry of WELS Lutherans for Life and the pregnancy care centers it operates. In the past our guest speakers have included Pam Tebow, Abby Johnson, and Gianna Jessen. What is the mission of WELS Lutherans for Life? We are on a mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through compassionate care, information, education, and support services while empowering women and men to make informed, life-affirming decisions about lifestyle and pregnancy issues. How do I register? Registration is easy through www.EveningforLife.com, 414-727-8176, or via mail by invitation. When is the banquet? Thursday, October 10th, 2013 Doors Open & Social Hour 5:30-6:30pm Dinner & Program 6:30-9:00pm Where is the banquet held? Country Springs Hotel & Conference Center; 2810 Golf Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072 What the cost to attend? The cost is $45 per person, $320 per table of 8. Reservations are required. R.S.V.P by Thursday, September 26th. What is appropriate attire for the banquet? Business dress or nicer. What are the proceeds from Evening for Life used for? Proceeds support the life-saving work of this ministry including the operation of pregnancy care centers, a helpline, client website, and education that empowers youth and parents to make healthy, Godly choices. What is a table host? Table hosts are individuals or couples willing to invite family members or friends to sit with them at the banquet or to be hosts to guests assigned to their table. It is not a large commitment, but it is very important to the overall success of the banquet! Each table seats 8-10; there is no charge to host a table.
